Our story
Bringing light where there is digital darkness
Access to reliable technology, communications and energy is no longer a luxury. It is a basic requirement for modern education and community development.
International agencies fund multi-million-dollar programmes to connect schools and health facilities across Mozambique. Yet many stall at the last mile: equipment waits in warehouses, remote sites have no reliable power, and systems fail within two years because no one local is there to maintain them.
Ponte Digital was founded to close that gap. We combine internet and telecommunications, local IT networks and sustainable energy into resilient systems that work even where conventional infrastructure does not.
Our purpose is simple: to connect communities, enable education, and build a more digitally inclusive Mozambique.

How we operate
We work in two roles
A programme can bring us in as a subcontractor to its technology supplier, or contract us directly.
Implementing subcontractor
The local delivery team for international technology firms and equipment suppliers entering Southern Africa, handling local assembly, warehousing and deployment.
Independent prime partner
A direct implementing partner for connectivity, solar electrification and capacity-building tenders from agencies and the Ministry of Education.
